EARLIX LABS ("we" or "us" or "our") respects the privacy of our users ("user" or "you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, Notification Light App (the "Application"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THE APPLICATION.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you install the Application or make payments, including Google Play Store. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.

By using Notification Light App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. By continuing to use this app, you consent to the processing of information on your device as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information to our own servers. However, this Application displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising network, which may collect certain device and advertising data as described in the "ADVERTISING" section below.

Google Play Data Safety Disclosure: Please refer to the app's Data Safety section on its Google Play Store listing for our complete, current data collection and sharing disclosures, which account for data collected via Google AdMob.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The Application stores the following information only on your device to provide core functionality:

1. App Preferences and Settings

• Applications you have enabled for edge lighting notifications
• Custom color preferences for each application
• Edge lighting animation settings and customization preferences
• Display preferences (size, duration, style, animation type)

2. Notification Data (Processed Locally Only)

• The Application accesses notifications from other apps on your device only to display edge lighting effects
• This data is processed in real-time locally on your device and is never stored, transmitted to our servers, or shared with any third party
• Notification content is used solely for the purpose of triggering and customizing edge lighting effects

Your app preferences and notification data remain on your device. We have no servers that collect or store this data.

The Application requires the following Android permissions to provide its core edge lighting and notification features. All permissions are used solely for on-device functionality and never for tracking or data collection.

1. Post Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS)

Why we need it:

• To display a persistent notification in your notification shade indicating that the edge lighting service is active and running.
• This notification allows you to quickly access the app and shows you that edge lighting is currently enabled.
• Required on Android 13 (API 33) and above to show any notifications from the app.

What we DON'T do: We do not send spam notifications, promotional messages, or advertisements. The notification is solely for service status indication.

2.Display over other apps (android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) - Optional

Why we need it:

• To display edge lighting overlays and visual effects on top of other applications and lock screen.
• To show lighting animations even when other apps are open.

What we DON'T do: We do not draw ads, collect interaction data, or manipulate user interfaces of other apps.

3. Wake Lock (android.permission.WAKE_LOCK)

Why we need it:

• To wake or keep the screen active during lighting animations when a new notification arrives.

4. Disable Keyguard (android.permission.DISABLE_KEYGUARD)

Why we need it:

• Used to show edge lighting effects briefly over the lock screen. The app does not bypass device security.

5. Full Screen Intent (android.permission.USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT)

Why we need it:

• To display full-screen edge lighting notifications when enabled by the user.

6. Access Notification Policy (android.permission.ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY)

Why we need it:

• To respect your device's "Do Not Disturb" settings by pausing lighting effects when DND is active.

7. Notification Access (android.permission.BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE)

Why we need it:

• To detect when notifications arrive from selected apps and trigger corresponding edge lighting effects.
• To identify the app name, time, and type of notification — processed only on your device.

What we DON'T do: We do not read or store message content or send notification data to any server.

8. Access to Installed Apps (android.permission.QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES)

Why we need it:

• To display a list of installed apps, allowing you to choose which apps should trigger edge lighting.

Google Play Disclosure: This permission is used only for user selection and display purposes. No app usage data is tracked or transmitted.

9. Foreground Service (android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE and android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE)

Why we need it:

• To run a foreground service that displays a persistent battery status overlay indicator on your screen — including charging state, low-battery threshold alerts, and battery health tracking — even while the app is minimized or you are using other apps.
• This service only runs while you have explicitly enabled the battery overlay or battery health tracking feature in the app's settings.
• A visible notification is shown in your notification shade whenever this service is active, so you always know it's running.

What we DON'T do: This service does not collect, transmit, or share any data. It exists solely to keep the on-screen overlay indicator active and visible.

10. Receive Boot Completed (android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED)

Why we need it:

• To automatically resume the battery overlay service after your device restarts, if you had previously enabled it, so you don't need to manually reopen the app each time.

What we DON'T do: We do not use this permission to launch background tracking, analytics, or any activity unrelated to resuming the battery overlay feature.

All information collected by the Application is stored locally on your device and is used solely to:

• Display edge lighting effects for notifications from selected applications
• Remember your customization preferences (colors, animation styles, enabled apps)
• Provide a personalized notification experience
• Pause notifications during phone calls
• Respect Do Not Disturb settings
• Wake the screen for incoming notifications
• Display effects on lock screen
• Display a persistent battery status overlay when enabled, including after device restart

We do not:

• Collect any personally identifiable information ourselves
• Track your app usage, behavior, or notification history
• Access the content of your notifications beyond what's necessary for edge lighting display
• Read, store, or analyze notification text or content
• Share notification content or app preferences with any third party
• Transmit notification data or app settings to any server (we have no servers for this data)
• Access your call history, contacts, or phone numbers

Note: This Application does display advertisements via Google AdMob, which independently collects limited device and advertising data to serve and measure ads. This is separate from and unrelated to your notification data or app preferences, which remain entirely on-device as described above. See "ADVERTISING" below.

• Local Storage Only: All application settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences
• No Cloud Storage: We do not use any cloud storage or external servers
• No Data Transmission: No app preference or notification data is sent from your device to us or any third party
• Device Security: Data is protected by your device's built-in security measures
• Data Deletion: Uninstalling the Application will automatically remove all stored preferences from your device

The Application may use the following third-party services:

1. Google Play Billing

• Used for in-app purchases (premium features unlock)
• Governed by Google Play's Privacy Policy
• We do not store, access, or handle your payment information
• All payment processing is handled by Google Play Store

2. Google AdMob

• Used to display banner, interstitial, rewarded, and app open advertisements within the Application
• Governed by Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's policies
• AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), IP address, general location, and ad interaction data to serve and measure advertisements
• You can opt out of personalized advertising via your device's Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

3. Android System Services

• The Application uses standard Android APIs (notification access, overlay display, screen state, foreground service)
• These services are governed by Google's Android Privacy Policy
• All processing happens locally on your device

We do not integrate any:

• Analytics services (no Firebase, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Crash reporting services that transmit data

This Application is monetized in part through advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use the following types of information to serve, personalize, and measure ads:

• Advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID)
• Device information (device type, operating system version)
• Approximate location (derived from IP address)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, view duration)

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to or control over the specific data Google collects through its advertising SDK.

Ad-supported features in this Application include:

• Banner ads on the Premium, About, Battery Health, Battery Overlay, App Selection, and Custom Design screens
• Interstitial ads shown after certain actions, such as saving a custom design or changing settings
• Rewarded ads, which you may choose to watch in exchange for in-app coins
• App open ads, which may appear when opening or returning to the app

Opting out of personalized ads: You can limit ad personalization at any time via your device's Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization," or Settings → Privacy → Ads (wording varies by Android version). Opting out does not stop ads from showing, but limits how they are personalized.

Premium users: Purchasing the premium version of this Application removes all advertisements.

If you choose to purchase premium features:

• Payment Processing: Handled entirely by Google Play Store
• What We Receive: Only confirmation that a valid purchase was made (no payment details)
• What We Don't Collect: Credit card numbers, billing addresses, or any payment information
• Purchase History: Managed by Google Play and your Google account
• Refunds: Handled through Google Play Store refund policy

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the Application, please note that:

• The Application does not collect any personal information ourselves
• App preferences and notification-related data are stored locally on the device only
• This Application displays advertisements via Google AdMob, which is not directed at children and does not knowingly serve personalized ads to users believed to be under 13

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

Access

• View all your settings within the Application at any time
• See which apps are enabled for edge lighting
• Review your color preferences

Modification

• Change preferences, enabled apps, and colors at any time
• Adjust animation settings and display preferences
• No restrictions on how many times you can modify settings

Deletion

You can delete all app data by:

1. Clear Data: Android Settings → Apps → Notification Light App → Storage → Clear Data
2. Uninstall: Removing the Application deletes all associated data
3. Disable Permissions: Revoke any permission at any time through Android Settings

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any information collected by the Application.

However, we may be required to disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

Legal Compliance

If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request:

• Comply with applicable laws or respond to valid legal processes
• Protect the rights, property, and safety of our users or the public
• Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues

Important Note:

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is minimal to no information that could be subject to such disclosure. All data remains on your device, aside from the advertising data collected independently by Google AdMob as described above.

• Local Storage: Settings are retained on your device until you clear app data or uninstall
• No Server Storage: We do not retain any data on servers (we have no servers)
• Automatic Deletion: Uninstalling the app automatically deletes all local data
• No Backup: We do not back up your settings to cloud services

Since all app preference and notification data processing happens locally on your device and we do not transmit this data to servers:

• No international data transfers of app preference or notification data occur
• This data never leaves your device
• No cross-border data flow considerations apply to data we handle

Advertising data collected by Google AdMob may be processed internationally in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

1. Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy
2. Posting the new Privacy Policy on our website (if applicable)
3. Notifying you via the Application or email for significant changes

Your continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

The Application includes an optional feature that allows you to select an image from your device to generate a particle-based animation style. This image is processed entirely offline, on your device, and is never uploaded, transmitted, stored on our servers, or shared with any third party. We have no servers and no access to any image you select.

By using this feature, you confirm that you own the copyright to the image you select, or that you have obtained the necessary permission or license from the copyright owner to use it.

The Application does not provide, host, pre-load, or promote any stock images, copyrighted characters, or third-party visual media. You are solely responsible for sourcing your own images.

By using Notification Light App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
